Every espresso beverage Starbucks handcrafts for you begins right here. Starbucks’ master roasters coax the beans along the heat taking them deep and dark&mdasha recipe for caramelly sweetness so right it’s never been changed. The quest began in 1975 with a search for the perfect melding of beans and roast, ending months of intense experimentation later with the coffee you’re holding in your hand. A blend of beans from Latin America and Asia-Pacific, roasted the way only they can.
It’s where sustainable and ethical sourcing meet to create a long-term supply of high-quality coffee and positively affect the lives and livelihoods of coffee farmers and their communities.
Starbucks, in pursuit of premium quality coffee, sources beans from more than 30 coffee-producing countries located within the “coffee belt.” As a result, they have instituted their own set of comprehensive guidelines to help ensure the coffee they buy is ethically grown and responsibly traded.

Great for Cold Brew!
I always keep whole bean coffee to use for cold brew. The Starbucks Espresso roast has a great flavor and bold taste for cold brew. The large size is appreciated requiring fewer trips to the store.

Not as good as you think
Coffee beans
I love getting my own beans to grind and love it and gotta find the amount to put in to make because it can get too strong and give it a bitter taste and i found my sweet spot
Commendable
I don’t ordinarily buy an expresso product, but this one has a nice medium taste when brewed. Nice nutty overtones.
Great price and great flavor
I love making my own espresso at home
