Shipped damaged inside the shipping box.
I like the tomato paste, but the box arrived open with cans spilling out onto my kitchen floor when I removed it from the shipping box. This was clearly placed into the shipping box that way. There’s no way they would sell it like this in the store, as no one would buy it that way. Pawning off the seconds, damaged, and defective items on unsuspecting shipping customers is unacceptable. It should be stated up front if the items the customer is receiving is damaged, open box and/or defective and a suitable discount should be applied. Fifty cents isn’t much of a discount but I suspect that the reason this was discounted was because the box had been opened.
