Get Creative with Coffee Grounds

Hey, did you know that our Member&rsquos Mark Fair Trade Certified&trade coffee grounds have some cool practical uses even after you’ve brewed your coffee? Check this out&mdashhere are three awesome ways to give those used coffee grounds a second life:

  1. Neutralize odors: Coffee contains nitrogen, which is great at eliminating odors. Just leave an open container of used grounds around to get rid of any unpleasant smells. You can also make a little sachet to hang around your place or toss in your car. Just make sure those grounds are completely dried out to avoid any mold issues. Oh, and here’s a neat trick: after handling strong-smelling foods like garlic or onions, rub some used coffee grounds on your hands to get rid of the lingering scent.

  2. Make an exfoliant: Grab those coffee grounds and mix them up with some gritty sugar and your favorite oil. Give your damp skin a good scrub with the mix, and then rinse it off. Your skin will thank you!

  3. Scrub hard-to-clean surfaces: Sprinkle those grounds onto stuff like pots, pans, gardening tools or even your grill grates. The gritty texture works wonders in tackling grease, stubborn stains and stuck-on food.

Notes: Used coffee grounds contain moisture after brewing so be sure to refrigerate, freeze or dry them out to prevent mold.

Rich, Bold, and a New Family Favorite!!
I recently tried Member’s Mark French Roast Whole Bean Coffee, and I’m incredibly impressed! As a coffee lover, I’m always on the lookout for beans that offer that rich, bold flavor, and this one definitely delivers.

The beans are high-quality and have a deep, smoky aroma that fills the room as soon as you start grinding them. It’s the kind of coffee that wakes you up with a satisfying richness, without being too bitter.

Whether I’m brewing it in my drip coffee maker or French press, it consistently makes a delicious, full-bodied cup. Plus, the price is fantastic for the quality, especially when compared to other premium brands.

If you’re looking for an affordable, high-quality French roast that doesn’t compromise on taste, I highly recommend Member’s Mark French Roast Whole Bean Coffee. It’s become a staple in my kitchen!!!!

    Not as Good as Kirkland
Not as good as Kirkland French Roast. Kirkland is smoother, bit more oil in the beans, little darker.

  3. DS

Not something I will buy again.
    Lacking coffee essence

Great coffee – Horrible resealable bag
The coffee is absolutely wonderful. So why the 3 star review? The bag…. the bag is absolute garbage. The ziplock seal busted when opening the package for the first time. Unprepared for this, the coffee had to go into a clear ziplock bag. Not the best place to keep coffee beans.

    Best Morning Brew
My long time favorite is Chock full of Nuts. This roast whole bean is richly flavored, smooth and full bodied. I’ll buy it again!
