Love this vanilla paste!
I am in love with this vanilla paste. Nice flavor and not bitter.
Great taste – Agave & vanilla beans
Great taste & recommend if you can have agave. Only thing is I can’t see how much sugar is in it on the bottle. This has no alcohol as most other vanillas.
Vanilla flavors all
This will be a added shelf product in my baking
Agave: similar to HFCS
# Vanilla Powder
– more vanilla powder than extract
– cheaper than using whole vanilla beans
– byproduct
# Vanilla Extract
– less extract than powder
– a flavoring made by soaking beans in alcohol & water capturing the essence (flavor compounds) of the beans without the solids.
# Agave
– the base
– NOT a simple “natural” sweetener
– a highly processed product
– Agave nectar is marketed as a healthy sweetener but should be avoided for it’s high fructose content, which can lead to insulin resistance, increaded triglycerides, & potential liver problems
– similar to HFCS
– Those pregnant or breastfeeding: some evidence of uterus stimulation & contractions. Possibly unsafe if breastfeeding.
– higher calorie than table sugar
– created through fructan hydrolysis (a long convoluted process): core is crushed, distilled, filtered, hydrolyzed, filtered again, & “vacuum-evaporated”.
Rethink the nozzle
I like the vanilla bean paste, but the spout leaks even after you’ve stopped squeezing the bottle. It causes a mess and waste of an expensive product.
