      Bad olives…
We purchased a case of these black olives on July 28,2024, and we have purchased this brand before from SAM’S. Usually, this brand of black olives is good, but not this batch. We have kept them in a climate controlled pantry, and opened the first can of this case on February 19, 2025. Upon opening the can, I noticed an unusual, off smell. Not the normal black olive smell. Inspection of the olives showed them to be very soft and mushy, almost to the point of disintegrating. The usual black color was a muted blackish, gray. Obviously, bad olives. The expiration date on the can bottom is Feb 9, 2028, so they should have been good. I hope nobody got sick from these. I won’t buy these again.

      Healthy snack and more
My grand-daughter loves pitted Olive. It is her snack. I just rinse off the salt water. She can eat a whole can. Healthy in stead of chips or cookies. It can be use in so many dishes, main dish, sides dishes like pizza and salad.
