Fast food in style.
When a trip to a hamburger joint is $25 for two, it’s nice to put together a pantry meal for less than half of that. The canned roast beef, Pioneer brown gravy mix with egg noodles (or rice, or instant mashed potatoes), a can of green beans and you have a great meal that is not only comfort food but also comforting to the wallet. Best part is not having to change from your house slippers or defrost anything. Usually enough gravy/roast leftover to charge an open-faced sandwich for lunch the next day.

Smells and tastes awful.
Not sure if just a bad batch or what. But, I totally agree with another reviewer that it looks, tastes and smells bad. Sam’s is normally high quality with all of their products. I hope they find a betr brand. Now, off 2 c if the dog will eat it.
A pleasant surprise
VERY surprised at the quality and flavor. I saw a review of canned meat products on YouTube in which scored Butterfield Farms very favorably. I bought it as backup food for hurricanes. So, to rotate stock, I fixed a beef stew with a few cans. It was actually was quite good. I am sure some would be put off by the initial appearance, but try it is stew, or gravy and mashed potatoes.
