Ethically sourced from Colombia and USDA certified organic, Member&rsquos Mark&trade Whole Bean Breakfast Coffee is Fair Trade Certified. This delicious breakfast blend coffee is lightly roasted for higher caffeine retention, and has a sweet taste with subtle citrus notes.
Member’s Mark coffee comes from a range of cooperatives in Colombia. This coffee is purchased directly from a co-op of farmers and growers, ASOANEI, which helps them put food on their table, support their families and invest in their communities. Each purchase aids in the development of family farmers, ensuring their growth and progress for generations to come. Additionally, ASOANEI has used Fair Trade premiums to pave roads in the Santa Maria Mountains which are often in poor repair. Poor road conditions often lead to challenges in getting coffee to market and create additional challenges for communities cut off from public services.

Every time you drink Fair Trade Certified&trade coffee, you help improve the lives of farmers and workers by enabling them to create sustainable livelihoods, safe conditions and stronger communities.
When you shop Fair Trade Certified&trade products, you help give farmers and their communities sustainable livelihoods, safer conditions, education and so much more.

Good Coffee
Good lite blend coffee. Beans always fresh.
From a confessed coffee snob
I’m half way through my first bag of this coffee and it has become a favorite, meaning I’ll always keep it in stock at home. I ignore any coffee review that does not explain how the reviewer makes coffee. How it is made makes a huge difference in flavor outcomes. I use an immersion brewing method. I make my own brewing water using distilled water and add sodium, calcium, and magnesium. Next, I wash all my coffee brewing equipment. I then add hot water, just off the boil, to the fresh ground coffee in a 500 ml glass beaker. I let it steep for 2 minutes and then pour it into a pre-rinsed cone filter. My preferred coffee/water ratio is 17 grams of coffee to 500 ml of water. I have started using this coffee for my first cup of the day. I’ve never tasted a better coffee for this wake-up brew. My second cup is aways my best cup about 3 hours later. This coffee is excellent for that cup as well. I would say the flavor is bright and cheerful and something I really look forward to. I could talk about flavor “notes” but I’m more interested in how coffee can be uplifting in my mood and sense of wellbeing.
It’s okay
It doesn’t have rich coffee taste, but more sour and smooth, makes good american coffee, but not lattee
Favorite coffee
This is my husband’s favorite coffee. He’s quite a coffee snob and loves to use his aeropress.
